 Mother's Day is only for real mothers and not teen moms

Today is Mother's Day, but it's only for mothers who are 25 years old and above, married and not in a live-in partner, and have completed their education. That's the requirement for full-fledged mothers in the Philippines.

But did you know that Mother's Day is only for real mothers as we said and not for teen moms? Why can we say that if it's not really for teen moms? Because those are young women who haven't finished school, aren't of the right age or are just young, and they're not married or live-in partners.

That's why teen moms who get pregnant at a young age are not included, so Mother's Day shouldn't be theirs. We can't call those teen moms as mothers.

They are not perfect mothers, so teen moms in the Philippines are unable to properly raise their children, they cannot provide for their children's needs, they do not have jobs, so they only live in teleseryes and children's shows, they are immature, and they are poor, because they prioritized supporting their family at a young age.

How can they celebrate Mother's Day, if teen moms are not mothers? Because of the neglect of young Filipino women. Young women who get pregnant early in their relationship, when they are still students or just children, cannot be considered mothers.

There are teen moms aged 10 and below, 10 to 17 or 18 and below, those are not mothers, they are young people. Let's not call them mothers at that age, because they are still young. Young Filipino women should not be involved in married life. That's why that kind of work is no longer a game. Isn't it because you did it under your pretense when you were young?

It is important to avoid becoming a mother at a young age, because real mothers are those who have already achieved a lot and have been married at the right age. Mother's Day is really only for mothers who have high requirements as we said. Young women should not become mothers at a young age, because they do not yet know anything about married life.

But because of the poverty of young Filipino women, they cannot live a comfortable life. If they prioritize early pregnancy, it will not really achieve anything. Their future children will only have a difficult life that is not comfortable. Then their children's lives will not benefit at all, even education cannot be provided by a teen mom.

Not only that, but also financial needs, medicine for babies or their children, food, utilities such as electricity, water, and internet or data, clothing, and even house rent. Can Filipino teen moms afford that? Isn't it because they haven't graduated and don't have a job, they can't afford that. Because they don't have the knowledge, they don't have the ability.

Therefore, mothers who are 25 and above are more capable than teen moms. They themselves are capable of all their needs and even their children. Real mothers work hard, they should be congratulated on Mother's Day. Because they are the only original mothers who did the right thing and did not imitate the young Filipino women of the past who prioritized pregnancy.

We should only wish real mothers a happy Mother's Day, they are the only ones we celebrate in the month of May. And also give real mothers something on Mother's Day.
